Alaiya EV is the second brain and task manager I built to run my own life. It's a harness for my AI and an edge for me: it keeps me focused and enhances my discernment, giving guidance but leaving the execution to me.
Alaiya
Ask it to get you ready for a call you haven't thought about in months. It has deep context, not just facts, so it knows what that call needs: what you owe them, what slipped last time, who they are and what they will ask for. Then it puts the work on your list.
You never have to explain your own life to it.
The Stream
Through the day, Alaiya reads your chats, your mail and your messages and suggests what's worth remembering, and you can add your own. Each suggestion waits for your approval before it becomes part of the record.
Your journal, your people records and your writing rulebook all get built from what you approve, so the people in your life stay in the picture, and your AI's first draft of any message is already checked against how you write and tailored to the person it's for.
Execution
Executed Value
A record of what you know only pays off when the things you care about get done. Your AI can propose tasks, but only you put them on your list, while the execution has always been yours.
It's easy to be busy all day and still not move forward.
EV scores your tasks and nudges you toward the ones you've shown will bring you closest to feeling you're living the life you want over the long run. Strategic work moves your life forward and tactical work keeps it running.
Guidance
Evidence, Judgment, Guidance
An AI that remembers facts about you can still give you generic advice. What helps you decide is what those facts mean: the pattern you keep falling into, the read on the person across the table, the way you take advice best.
That is what EJG hands your AI before it answers. It gathers the evidence, reads who you are and what you came for, and brings in the coaching and negotiation craft that fits.
It gets sharper the more you use it, because it measures what it hands you against what you do next and what happens as a result.
It reflects your own best thinking, so you can decide with full awareness.
Real life
Since the summer of 2025 I've recorded the facts of my personal and professional life in one place, and the AI has turned them into a read on the people around me, the strategies that work with them and the way I communicate.
My AI coaches me from a narrative I craft with it, out of my experiences, the sources that inspire me and the books I've read, and it keeps score on its own advice with Machine Learning. It dreams up its own concepts that EJG also pulls in and tests, creating a constant cycle of growth. The tasks are what I get done and the habits are who I become.
You should never trust the guidance an AI gives you unless you've built that AI to understand who you are at your best.
Roadmap
Next
Alaiya gets an AI of its own, a model that installs with the app and runs on your computer. It turns your raw memories and tasks into the storehouse it reads to understand you and guides you from there, while the everyday work stays on your machine instead of billing you by the token. You write a new craft with your AI right there in the app, and a Stream card that looks off gets talked through on the spot. Your AI becomes real, and its skills and connectors carry it into the more powerful models you use elsewhere.
The essays
The Philosophy of AI Memory lays out the argument behind Alaiya: why a record you own changes what a model can be to you. The Other Side of Memory picks up from there, with why memory is only half of a second brain and how Alaiya EV adds the other half.

I'm building it for myself first, and I'm happy to work with the first few people who want to set it up for themselves. If you'd rather look around first, request demo access and the password comes back to you. The demo is the real app on a made-up cast, and you can click through all of it.
Alaiya works with the Claude or ChatGPT account you already have. You don't switch assistants, you give the one you use a thorough memory, enhanced retrieval, and a shared task system. Your record lives in a database you own, mirrored to your own machine every night, and the models only see the slice each conversation needs.
